ABOUT

IAR is an exclusive three-day leadership symposium for the Business of Space, convening the next generation of scientists, entrepreneurs, and creatives alongside leading space experts to open a new chapter for discovery, partnership, and collaboration. Inter Astra brings together over 100 thought leaders representing a diverse, international spectrum of traditional and emergent sectors to explore actionable solutions and foster new partnerships through collaborative discussions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Students attending Inter Astra Retreat will join group discussions with industry leaders on the most pressing issues in the developing space economy. They will personally connect with experts from across the world, and gain exposure to a wide variety of actors and organizations. At Inter Astra Retreat, students learn the latest in space-related topics, refine their post-secondary educational goals, and connect with professional development opportunities. Unlike a typical conference, the Inter Astra Retreat program is oriented around carefully crafted small discussion groups. Previous topics include:

Scholarships: Student scholarships cover:

 

• 3-night stay at the Salamander Resort & Spa for student and chaperone (shared room)   Check-in November 5,      2023 | Check-out November 8, 2023

• All food and beverage, programming, and recreational activities

 

• Transportation between DC airports and the Salamander Resort

 

Please note:     

- Flights to and from the DC area are the participant's responsibility.     

- Students must be accompanied by a chaperone. There is a $250 fee to cover chaperone room & board.
