From The Arts To Space Law with Catrina A. Melograna

Catrina A. Melograna is a Project Lead on the Strategic Foresight Team within the Center for Space Policy and Strategy (CSPS) at The Aerospace Corporation.

The team’s focus is on transforming the space and national security enterprise through application of disciplined methods to enhance decision-making under uncertainty. Melograna leads projects on strategy, innovation, foresight, and policy across a range of direct customer sets and external engagement opportunities through CSPS.

Additionally, she provides expertise on international, space, and aviation law, policy, and regulation. Prior to joining Aerospace, Melograna worked as an attorney handling cases dealing with civil, regulatory, and business law issues in Pennsylvania, California, and Washington State.

Melograna earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, and an advanced Master of Laws degree (cum laude) in air and space law from Leiden University. She also attended International Space University’s (ISU) Space Studies Program in 2019, where she earned the Morla Milne Award for highest academic achievement.
